The Best One Piece Card Game Decks Right Now (April 2026)

A new format means a new meta. In the aftermath of a new set release in the form of Adventure on Kami's Island, a set rotation, and a fresh ban list, the stage is set for a completely unique Western meta that we expect to rule for at least the next month.
Since the Western meta will be playing with the Pudding and I Re-Quasar Hellp!! bans in effect, we expect yellow and blue to be much less meta-defining forces than they were in the Eastern format, although Borsalino remains a force to be reckoned with even without its pair-banned partner in crime.
Here's a roundup of this month's best decks in the game, with a quick rundown on how to play each one should you choose to take the meta route.

Now that its mortal enemy yellow decks have been severely hamstrung, the Purple Enel deck is rising to S-tier primacy. In the East, it's such a dominant force in the meta that new decks are coming out of the woodwork just to counter it.
The first card that decks are implementing to tech for Purple Enel is Electrical Luna, which can freeze Enel's entire board if he's not careful. That's why newer lists are running fewer copies of the 6-cost SR Blocker Enel in favor of 4-cost Blocker Vinsmoke Reiju, which boosts itself to 7000 power and 9 cost if you have 4 or more Events in the trash, to avoid getting frozen. The spell Varie is seeing inclusion for this as well, as it can boost your Enel Characters out of Luna range.
Besides that, the Enel game plan is the same: Play Ohm and Holly, some of the strongest early game threats we've ever seen in the One Piece Card Game, and then follow it up with your 6-cost boss monster Enels. Use your Leader effect to swing big with your little bodies (or bigger with your big bodies), then once your opponent is on the ropes, protect your board and your Life with your toolbox of cycling Events (cards that replace themselves in hand while also providing utility).

You'd think a deck like Blue Yellow Nami, which just had two of its best cards banned in the form of I Re-Quasar Hellp!! and Charlotte Pudding, would've fallen completely out of the meta by now, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Instead, she remains one of the strongest decks in the game thanks to her powerful Leader effect that makes her a 7000-power Leader, her ability to heal multiple Life with Borsalino/Moria/Nico Robin, and her access to the Thriller Bark package—all of which give her a great matchup versus the likes of Enel.
The plan with this new post-ban build is similar to the old one, although it doesn't rely as much on the heal spam that I Re-Quasar Hellp!! allowed: play out your curve, swing with your big bodies, and use your powerful defensive countering abilities to survive into the late game where you can simply out-value the opponent.
If your Life situation starts to get dicey in the aggro matchups, you drop your healing cards and let your trigger Characters and late-game value generators like Robin, Moria, and Newgate seal the deal.

Now that Purple Enel—a difficult matchup for Lucy—is set to be the top dog in the OP-15 format, Lucy is no longer the all-around S-tier threat he was in the East. But that doesn't mean he's fallen out of the top deck spread entirely. With the ability to draw a card whenever he activates an Event costing 3 and the ability to discard Event cards to buff his Leader's power, he remains a flexible Leader with a wide array of offensive and defensive options.
As for the overall game plan, it remains practically unchanged from how it looked in the East. Play down your copies of 4-cost Cavendish to stockpile a massive hand, then drop your Sabo blockers in the midgame to either clear your opponent's board, widen your own board, or draw a bunch more cards. Once you've got down a couple Sabos you're practically guaranteed to out-value the opponent as you clear their threats with spells that replace themselves.

(Case tournament winner list by FatherKahn)
With his ability to build go wide while protecting his board, OP-15 Yellow Luffy (AKA Sky Island or "Bell" Luffy) has multiple ways to close out games. Now, with the inclusion of the removal card Gedatsu, he's even got a much better matchup into Enel with access to heal, board control, and aggression that doesn't let up.
The game plan remains simple: use your Leader effect to protect your Sky Island-type characters by taking a Life into hand, then use your myriad healing effects to stay out of lethal range.
In the midgame, for putting pressure on the opponent, you've got a few options. The 7-cost Nico Robin lets you draw your top Life card and replace it with one from the top of your deck, then summon a 5-cost Sky Island Character from your hand. Pair it with the Secret Rare 5-cost Luffy—which has Rush and gains power when a blocker or Event is activated—or with Wyper or Kalgara, two Sky Island cards that generate board and card advantage if left on the field.
Like many mono-yellow decks, Sky Island Luffy is relatively straightforward to pilot, making it a great pick for intermediate players who want an A-tier deck that isn't as mechanically intensive as some of the others on this list.
