Affiliate

This page explains the affiliate system in plain language: who can use it, how it is registered, which marketplaces are supported, and how commissions are attributed.

What this setup does

Clear registration flow
Sign in, define your affiliate details, and save the settings to activate tracking.
Transparent attribution
The cookie window, redirect logic, and fallback behavior are defined up front so there are no hidden rules.
Marketplace specific
Each supported marketplace uses its own reference format, which keeps the routing predictable.

How It Works

The process is intentionally simple: create the affiliate data, register the supported marketplace references, and let the platform attribute outgoing clicks according to the stored settings.

01

Open affiliate settings

Use your logged-in account to reach the affiliate settings area and begin the setup process.

02

Choose your tag and references

Configure the affiliate tag and add the marketplace references you want the platform to use.

03

Save and verify

Save the data, then verify the settings on your account page so you know the configuration is active.

Cookie validity

Referral attribution uses a 30-day cookie. This means the platform can remember the referral source for a limited time after a visitor clicks a valid affiliate link.

  • The cookie remains valid for 30 days.
  • If registration happens in that window, the referrer is stored.
  • If the cookie expires, attribution falls back to the default setup.
  • No hidden reset logic is used outside the published window.

How revenue sharing works

The commission flow is meant to stay explicit: when a referred user clicks a supported marketplace link, the click is routed through the active affiliate setup and counted for the matching marketplace.

  • Supported marketplaces are Cardmarket, eBay, TCGPlayer, and Buyee.
  • Each marketplace uses its own affiliate reference format.
  • Tracked clicks are shown in the account settings area.
  • Fallback behavior exists so the flow remains deterministic if a reference is missing.

Supported marketplaces

Cardmarket

Use a valid Cardmarket referrer code or a full URL containing the referrer parameter.

eBay

Use a full affiliate URL that includes the required campaign parameters.

TCGPlayer

Use the partner URL generated for your affiliate account.

Buyee

Use a valid Buyee affiliate reference with the expected tracking parameter.

FAQ

Any registered RED LINE user can configure an affiliate setup, provided the account is active and the marketplace references are valid.

Create or log in to your RED LINE account, open the affiliate settings area, and enter the tag plus the marketplace references you want to use.

The program currently supports Cardmarket, eBay, TCGPlayer, and Buyee.

No. You can configure the marketplaces you actually use, but each reference must be valid for the corresponding external platform.

When a qualifying outbound click is generated from a referred account, the click is attributed according to the active affiliate setup and counted in your settings.

The referral cookie lasts 30 days. If a user registers within that window, the affiliate assignment is retained for that account.

Yes, if the account settings allow it. The tag should stay short, readable, and unique so people can share it easily.

One person can hold only one affiliate identity per RED LINE account. The goal is traceable and transparent attribution, not account duplication.

No. The invited user pays the same marketplace price they would normally pay; the affiliate setup only determines attribution and commission handling.

If no valid referral is present, RED LINE falls back to the platform default setup so the click still works and the flow remains deterministic.

The whole point is to keep it readable, traceable, and easy to verify inside your account.
