The 10 Most Expensive One Piece Cards in The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17)
_OPC_Opengraph_09-01.jpg)
The One Piece Card Game is celebrating its fourth anniversary in a big way. The World's Strongest Warriors (OP-17) brings together the original Four Emperors, the Elbaph arc, and some of the most powerful cards we've ever seen in the game, all while introducing more new rarities and treatments than any previous One Piece set.
OP-17 is packed with collector's pieces. Alongside its 117 new cards, the set features alternate arts, four Special Rare (SP) cards based on the new Four Emperors, and six SP cards showcasing the Color of the Supreme King Haki. But the biggest prizes are on another level entirely.
In addition to the set's four Manga Rares (aka Super Alternate Arts), The World's Strongest Warriors introduces an entirely new card variant: Pirate Crew Alternate Art. These incredibly rare cards feature the crews of Luffy and Rocks.D.Xebec with art from the manga in black and white with gold foil, making them some of the most elaborate cards Bandai has ever produced.
With so many incredible cards to chase, it should come as no surprise that The World's Strongest Warriors has some serious competition at the top of its price charts. But which cards are currently commanding the highest prices?
Let's take a look at the 10 most expensive One Piece cards in The World's Strongest Warriors!
#10 SP Shanks (OP13-028)
Kicking off the list, we've got Shanks. OP-17 contains two subsets of SP cards, and this one comes from the set of Four Emperors. Despite this card not being as meta relevant now, with Red/Green Luffy decks mostly forgoing it for ST31-004 Luffy, the red-haired emperor is still one of the most beloved characters from the entire One Piece series.
#9 SP Roronoa Zoro (EB04-007)
A powerful card from Adventure on Kami's Island gets an amazing SP upgrade in OP-17! A competitively viable card that has appeared in multiple red decks, this upgrade to Zoro is part of another subset of SP cards, these ones featuring black-and-white art with red highlights.
Collectors will want to complete the set of six, while competitive players wanting to bling out their decks have pushed Zoro almost to the $500 mark.
#8 Manga Charlotte Linlin (OP17-112)
The first of four Manga Rares from OP-17, Big Mom is one of the most recognizable villains from One Piece. Each of the Manga Rares in OP-17 features a 10-cost version of the original Four Emperors, as a celebration of the One Piece TCG's fourth anniversary.
Collectors will certainly look to gather all four of them to complete the set. A set featuring the world's strongest warriors just wouldn't feel complete without her larger-than-life presence!
#7 SP Monkey.D.Luffy (ST31-004)
We're only at number eight, and we've already hit a card approaching a four-digit price tag. Of course, when a set contains three different versions of Monkey.D.Luffy that are all extremely desirable, it makes sense! This SP version has the same gold border as the aforementioned Shanks, with red interwoven to give the card a luxurious, royal feel.
#6 Manga Kaido (OP17-062)
It makes a ton of sense that the emperor once known as the World's Strongest Creature would receive a Manga Rare card in the World's Strongest Warriors set! The card lets you recycle DON!! and sets you up for devastating pushes later in the game, and is a key piece for the Purple Kaido deck. His imposing stance makes him one of the scariest enemies to face, both in the anime and the One Piece Card Game!
#5 Manga Edward.Newgate (OP17-005)
The Manga Rare Edward.Newgate kicks off our top 5! Similarly to Kaido, Whitebeard was once known as the Strongest Man in the World, so he's another fitting inclusion in OP-17. This card is a bit more difficult for decks to utilize, as it only works with monocolored Leaders, but if you can use him, he can absolutely swing a match in your favor!
#4 Manga Shanks (OP17-022)
The most expensive Manga Rare of OP-17, Shanks provides the perfect mix of collectibility and competitive viability. He remains one of the most popular characters from the series, and this is the third version of Shanks to be given the Manga Rare upgrade.
Although the card has not pushed Green Shanks decks to the top of the competitive charts as expected, Shanks remains a devastating card for either Shanks or Mihawk, turning all of your opponent's Characters sideways. While you would be happy to see any of the Manga Rares from your OP-17 booster packs, this is definitely the one that you're hoping to see the most.
#3 Manga Leader Monkey.D.Luffy (OP17-079)
The top three cards remaining on our list here are new treatments making their debut in OP-17!
For the first time, we have an alternate-art Leader card in the Manga Rare style, which Bandai is referring to as a Super Leader Alternate Art. Of course, being a Luffy card gives it an inherent price premium. We'll have to wait a little bit longer to see the pull ratios of the card, but for now, the card is coming in at around $2,200 per copy—not a bad price if you're lucky enough to crack one.
#2 Pirate Crew Rocks.D.Xebec (OP17-118)
- eBay Average Raw Sale Price (Aug 20-Sep 2, 2026): $7,100.00
And finally, taking the last two spots, we have the newest rarity in the One Piece Card Game—the Pirate Crew Alternate Art! With each anniversary set, we have been blessed with unique, high-rarity cards that have left players drooling. The Pirate Crew Alternate Arts show off the character along with their entire pirate crew, so on the Rocks.D.Xebec card, we see Edward Newgate, Charlotte Linlin, Kaido, and others.
It's still early, so there aren't too many of these even listed on TCGplayer at the moment. However, if we look at the prices of the Red Manga Rares from last year's third anniversary in OP-13, Ace, Sabo, and Luffy all command four-figure price tags, so it shouldn't be too much of a shock to see these settle in a similar range. Early sales on eBay see the card being sold for between $6,000 and $9,500.
Although the quantity of these cards will only increase as more product is opened, the combination of their rarity, unique artwork, and anniversary-set status could give them considerable long-term staying power.
#1 Pirate Crew Monkey.D.Luffy (EB04-061)
- eBay Average Raw Sale Price (Aug 20-Sep 2, 2026): $19,000.00
But of course, sitting atop the set we have Monkey.D.Luffy in all of his Pirate Crew Alternate Art glory! Luffy has received plenty of incredible alternate-art and high-rarity upgrades over the years, but this may be his most impressive upgrade thus far.
At the moment, the cheapest available copies of the card are in the low-five figures, which is still a crazy price tag. On eBay, copies have been auctioned for $15,000, and have sold for as much as $23,000. Given where the Red Manga Luffy from last year is sitting, it's possible that number won't come down nearly as much as some might expect.
The combination of a brand-new rarity and the One Piece series' most popular character has made Pirate Crew Alt-Art Luffy one of the ultimate collector chase cards—not just in The World's Strongest Warriors, but across the entire One Piece Card Game.
