If it feels like you've barely caught your breath since OP-13, there's a good reason for that. While One Piece sets have historically released in Japan a few months before they arrived in the rest of the world, Bandai has decided to unify their release schedule across the globe starting sometime in 2026. To make that possible, Bandai has been pushing out international sets faster to catch up with Japan. And starting with The Azure Sea's Seven, they're also consolidating sets that were released separately in Japan. The Azure Sea's Seven contains all the cards from OP-14, plus half of the cards from EB-04, for a double-stuffed set list whose chase cards are all individually harder to find.

And fans won't have long to look. On February 20, their focus will be pulled away by the release of One Piece Heroine's Edition (EB-03)—a sure-fire hit if ever there was one, guaranteed to swallow up players' and collectors' disposable income for the foreseeable future. In other words, fans have less time and more cards to collect than usual, which has made singles from The Azure Sea's Seven exceptionally pricey.

How pricey? Let's take a look. These are the 10 most expensive One Piece cards in The Azure Sea's Seven (OP14-EB04).

[On Play] If your Leader has the {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} type, add up to 1 card from the top of your deck to the top of your Life cards. Then, add up to 1 card from the top of your opponent's Life cards to the owner's hand.
[Trigger] Play up to 1 Character card with 6000 power or less and a [Trigger] from your hand.

Marketplace price trend

Boa Hancock (OP14-112) has a strong case for being the single most powerful card in The Azure Sea's Seven. In any yellow deck with a {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} Leader, Boa represents an immediate two-damage swing as you heal 1 Life from the top of your deck and tick your opponent closer to death. That's a devastating amount of pressure.

Boa's [Trigger] obviously pairs well with the ability of Boa Hancock Leader to draw a card when you play a Character on an opponent's turn, and the Life gain directly supports all the [Trigger] cards Boa wants to play anyway. The card's so powerful that even Gecko Moria (OP14-080) decks often want a full playset, even though Boa lacks the {Thriller Bark Pirates} type.

With everyone searching for base-rarity copies of Boa Hancock (OP14-112), this alternate-art version has become a serious prize for players and collectors... though as we'll see, it's still not even the most expensive version of this card in The Azure Sea's Seven.

Players expect Boa Hancock (OP14-041) to rocket to the top of the new meta, putting Imu (OP13-079) and Portgas.D.Ace (OP13-002) on the back foot for the first time since they took over the One Piece Card Game with the release of Carrying On His Will (OP-13). This will either open up the format, or move Tier 1 status even further out of reach for rogue decks. Either way, players are planning to play Boa in the near future, which means they all want her alternate-art Leader card.

At time of writing, alt-art Boa is far and away the most expensive of the alt-art Leaders in The Azure Sea's Seven, outpacing competitive Leaders like Dracule Mihawk (OP14-020) and Leaders of fan-favorite characters like Trafalgar Law.

All the SP cards from The Azure Sea's Seven have jaw-dropping price tags, and while Perona (OP06-093) isn't the most expensive among them, she's certainly not the least either. Some of that comes down to how much One Piece fans have always loved this goth princess, but Perona also has a decent chance of seeing play now due to how well she fits with all the new {Thriller Bark Pirates} cards that let you play on-theme Characters with a cost of 4 or less.

The new alternate-art version of Dracule Mihawk (OP12-030) looks as incredible as it is powerful. Sunohara's clean, crisp art style renders One Piece's iconic characters instantly recognizable, but they also fill their work with fine details that draw you in and add texture where you don't expect it. Dracule Mihawk (OP12-030) was one of the breakout cards from OP-12, and well deserves this SP treatment.

The only reason this card isn't even more valuable is that it doesn't exactly have a clear home in the format at the moment. While it has historically seen play in both Roronoa Zoro (OP12-020) and Jewelry Bonney (OP07-019) lists, both of those decks have fallen behind a bit since OP-13. Most Dracule Mihawk (OP14-020) decks have enough ways to ready DON!! and stabilize the board without this Mihawk, and prefer to run top-end cards that better synergize with their Leader like Shanks (OP14-027) and Dracule Mihawk (OP14-119).

If any of that changes, expect this card to become even more expensive than it is now.

You'll Frighten Me… is both a delightful reference to Boa's demonstration of how she can get away with literally anything (up to and including punting kittens), and a mandatory four-of in any Boa Hancock (OP14-041) deck. Those two facts, together with this card's rarity, have made the alternate-art version of You'll Frighten Me… one of the most valuable cards in The Azure Sea's Seven, and almost twice the price of the set's other alt-art Event, Ground Death (OP14-096).

Bandai has only recently experimented with giving Event cards a manga-inspired alternate-art treatment similar to the super alternate art Character cards that are the capstone to each set. Of the cards in this style, You'll Frighten Me... is among the most valuable, which reflects how well this one panel from the manga encapsulates Boa's entire character.

This might be my favorite work of Hashimoto Q to date. Hashimoto always excels at filling frames with movement and depth, but occasionally they sacrifice the legibility of their backgrounds to emphasize whatever action the character is performing. Personally, I sometimes miss the sense of place.

Here though, you can see Saboady rendered with crystal clarity, and the island's trademark bubbles give Hashimoto Q the perfect excuse to show off everything they can do with light and color. To top it all off, Hashimoto has managed to capture Zoro and Sanji's entire relationship in a single image. This deserves to be one of the most expensive cards in The Azure Sea's Seven for the art alone.

If anyone needed another reason to covet this card, Roronoa Zoro (PRB02-006) has a new home in Dracule Mihawk (OP14-020) decks that want some extra counter.

Now the last of the Four Emperors finally has his own 3rd Anniversary cards. Silver Buggy only sees play in rogue decks led by Buggy (OP09-042), but playability isn't the issue here. This card is capital-r Rare, with a rumored pull rate somewhere between 1 in 3 and 1 in 10 cases. That means you could easily open hundreds of packs without finding a single copy.

The capstone of most One Piece sets is its Manga Rare card (now officially known as a "super alternate art" card), featuring a background of panels pulled directly from the manga. In the case of The Azure Sea's Seven, that Manga Rare is Dracule Mihawk, the greatest swordsman in the world and the first Warlord of the Sea we met during Luffy's adventure.

Decks led by the new Dracule Mihawk (OP14-020) Leader typically run two or more copies of this Mihawk as a top-end finisher so they can lock down an opposing threat every turn, unbrick their hand, and swing for lethal. Mihawk's a serious contender in the OP-14 format, so naturally, players are eager for the chance to sleeve up Manga Mihawk as the ultimate flex on their opponents.

The biggest poser in the New World, Buggy doesn't have as many real-world fans as either Luffy or Shanks. But this card's scarcity, combined with the factors that have made every high-rarity single in The Azure Sea's Seven a hot commodity, will likely keep Gold Buggy's price on par with its "peers."
