The Most Valuable One Piece Cards You Can Open in Packs Right Now

The first half of 2026 has been pretty crazy for the One Piece Card Game. Although we haven't yet seen cards around the $5000 mark like we did last year, there have still been plenty of collectible cards released with the potential to appreciate in value over the next several years. We also saw the first Block Rotation in the game's history, marking a significant shift in what decks and strategies are viable, which has already begun to affect the secondary market prices of many key cards.

For the purposes of this article, we're just taking a look at cards from retail releases, so we aren't looking at things like promos for regional events. Also, we're only going to look at the prices of raw cards—especially with the recent changes to PSA's grading services. If you happen to eventually get some of these valuable cards graded in the future, however, you could be increasing the value of your card exponentially.

These are the most valuable One Piece cards that you can find inside recent booster packs today!

The Time of Battle

The latest One Piece Card Game set, The Time of Battle is based around the Paramount/Summit War at Marineford, featuring the best of all the Marine forces. It is considered to be one of the best arcs in all of One Piece, and The Time of Battle highlights some of the story's key figures.

This time around, we have three different Manga Rares—Borsalino, Sakazuki, and Kuzan! These are the three Admirals that fought at Marineford, and while they are perhaps not as iconic as some other characters from the series, the whole set of three is still highly collectible. The foreground image of each Admiral card is taken from the same key manga panel. Sakazuki commands the highest price, as the most playable of the three. However, once you own one of them, there's a good chance that you'll want to complete the set.

As is typically the case with One Piece sets, the SP cards in The Time of Battle have similar art styles. In this case, there's less happening with the background—however, that simply puts more emphasis on the characters themselves in their full-art portrait-style poses. At the moment, Ms. All Sunday carries the heftiest price tag (waifu tax and all), but all but one of them currently sits over the $100 mark. 

Because many older staples have rotated out of the format, players are especially eyeing cards that will be legal for the next several years. This means that new staples, such as Marshall.D.Teach (OP16-119) and Boa Hancock (OP16-032), are particularly attractive, not just for competitive play now, but in future formats as well. If you can, definitely consider picking up the alternate-art versions earlier on, since the reveal of a Leader in an upcoming set that can really make use of these cards will likely cause them to shoot up in price!

Adventure on Kami's Island

Adventure on Kami's Island contains cards from a couple of different sets, as it introduces the half of cards from Egghead Crisis (EB-04). This set came out immediately after the first Block Rotation of the One Piece Card Game! A large number of cards were rotated out of the game, making room for a wider range of decks to compete in the new format.

In looking at the chase cards from Adventure on Kami's Island, we have to begin by looking at the Manga Rares—Koby and Enel! Enel tops the set, not only because of its iconic rarity, but also because it's an extremely important card in the top-tier Enel deck. And of course, who wouldn't want to bling out their deck with four of them? On the other hand, Koby is slightly less valuable, as it bolsters a deck that's more of a rogue strategy. Nevertheless, you shouldn't be complaining if you pull either one from a pack.

Next up, the SP cards from OP-15 feature some of the best artwork of the year! Of course, Monkey.D.Luffy and Boa Hancock lead the way price-wise, the former because it's Luffy, and the other because of the waifu tax. The SP cards in the set feature a similar art style that will certainly push collectors to complete the set of them. If you're using a 3x3 binder, you could even finish the page with the other three SP cards from EB-04, found in the same set. Zeus, as a card used in many decks, carries a price that rivals that of Luffy and Hancock, while the other two SPs are relatively more affordable.

Outside of those top end chase cards, there are still many other strong cards in the set, and with the cards likely to stay in rotation for another few years, it's worth considering picking them up now. Between Monkey.D.Luffy (OP15-119), Roronoa Zoro (EB04-007), and Nami (OP15-086), there are many strong cards in the set that might become even more powerful if the right-colored Leader comes around!

One Piece Heroine's Edition

Across many trading card games, cards featuring popular female characters often command a premium among collectors. Just take a look at cards like Dark Magician Girl from Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cynthia from Pokémon. The Heroine's Edition set, as the name suggests, takes this to a whole new level, with the entire set dedicated primarily to such characters from the world of One Piece. While it stands to reason that not every card from the set will be worth a fortune, there is no shortage of chase cards that players will surely be hunting from the set!

The set features nine different SP alternate-art versions of cards from the set. Nami and Nico Robin are both powerful cards that players will look for playsets of, and Boa Hancock is… well, Boa Hancock. Even if you pull any of the other SPs, that should help you to recoup the majority of the cost of your booster box, or more!

The Manga Rare this time around is Uta! A bit of a controversial choice, Manga Rares are typically the most expensive card in each set. However, current market prices have placed it below several of the SP cards for now. Nevertheless, the rarity alone will make this a desirable card, especially for collectors looking to assemble all of the different Manga Rares together. 

Moving on, DON!! cards are a way to incorporate your favorite characters into any One Piece deck, and this set presents four different Heroines with golden DON!! cards to choose from—Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, and Uta. 

Of course, there are plenty of strong cards in the set. It just  happens that they highlight female characters, so even some of the less-playable alternate arts will carry a heftier price tag.

The Azure Sea's Seven

The first set to come out in 2026, The Azure Sea's Seven thematically revolves around the Seven Warlords of the Sea and their allies. It included cards from the Japanese set Egghead Crisis (EB-04), as Bandai compressed the One Piece release schedule in the West to catch up with the East.

The most expensive cards in the set by far are the Gold and Silver copies of Buggy. To celebrate the third anniversary of the One Piece card game, Bandai released gold and silver versions of Monkey.D.Luffy in A Fist of Divine Speed (OP-11), Marshall.D.Teach in Legacy of the Master (OP-12), and Shanks in Carrying On His Will (OP-13). Buggy completes the gold and silver set of the Four Emperors, allowing you to assemble all of them in your collection binder together! However, you'll most likely be cracking open hundreds of packs before you see one.

The Manga Rare in this set is none other than Dracule Mihawk! Although not as powerful of a deck in the current format as it was when OP-14 first dropped, the strategy still remains viable, and this is an important card for the deck's end game. Sleeving this up and throwing it onto the battlefield might be the ultimate way to intimidate your opponents.

SP cards will always be highly sought-after because of how difficult they can be to pull, but this set features several that are especially notable. Boa Hancock is one of the most powerful cards in the set, providing a two-Life swing on play, while this SP Roronoa Zoro is considered by many to be the best-looking Zoro card ever printed.

Finally, OP-14 includes a number of alternate-art cards that you'll certainly be happy to see! Ground Death and You'll Frighten Me… are powerful staples, while Boa Hancock, Dracule Mihawk, and Crocodile are all viable Leaders as well. Even if you don't manage to pull an SP or better from your box, there's a lot of value for your collection that can be found in the alternate arts and staples!
