The 10 Most Valuable One Piece Cards from OP-10 Royal Blood

The 10 Most Valuable One Piece Cards from OP-10 Royal Blood

It's been almost two weeks since OP10 – Royal Blood hit game store shelves, and I'm still twitching awkwardly every time I walk past a booster pack. One more couldn't hurt, right?

If you're similarly buried in empty booster wrappers, you'll know there's much to love about One Piece TCG's latest booster set. The beloved Usopp finally scores a leader card, the Punk Hazard arc is on full display, and each box is brimmed with incredible artwork and highly coveted cardboard. Honestly, what more could you ask from a new release?

However, it's effortless to feel lost between all the bells and whistles. When each pack is there to provide a fun pack-cracking experience, it can be challenging to discern the big-ticket items from the other sparkly cardboard. Which cards should you really be hoping to find inside your next pack of OP10 – Royal Blood?

You know a set is stuffed with goodies when only one of the alternative art leaders managed to crack the top ten alone. With that said, these are always some of my personal recommendations when it comes to savvy investment. One Piece TCG is a leader-centric game, and people tend to become very passionate about the leader they choose to stand next to at the helm. A blinged-out version of said leader is the best way to demonstrate your devotion and helps your deck feel a little more personal. They're always in demand, it's really that simple.

Usopp (OP10-042 Parallel) and Eustass"Captain"Kid (OP10-099 Parallel) fell just short of our top ten with a price tag of roughly $50 each, but that's no big surprise given the popularity of these characters and the potential of each leader. All it takes is a breakout season at the tournament tables for that price to skyrocket, so consider picking them up if you're so inclined.

Marketplace price trend

Honestly, just look at it. You can't tell me that isn't a badass-looking piece of cardboard.

Kuzan is one of those characters that carries an aura, and it's perfectly displayed in this variant of his card. You won't find a competitive list of Marshall.D.Teach (OP09-081) that doesn't feature four copies of his newest recruit, and it isn't difficult to see why. Replaying your most crucial characters from trash while generating card advantage? Don't mind if I do. But honestly, Nukadoko Mogera knocked this artwork out of the park, and I expect this card to appreciate in terms of value over time.

If you're new to the game, you might not understand why new artworks of old cards drive everyone crazy, but the Special Rare offerings in any set are often a massive deal. Typically, these treatments happen for either the best cards in the game or a premium version of iconic cards that have never had the luxury before.

There's nothing worse than a pesky base rarity in your blinged-out deck, so these cards tend to carry high demand. Charlotte Pudding (ST12-012) (SP) isn't the biggest hitter in this category, but the card previously only appeared in Starter Deck products and was more than worthy of a facelift. Marco (OP08-002) player will be overjoyed at the upgrade — especially with such good art.

Marketplace price trend

You know it's a big card when the middle-ground rarity makes the top ten.

I'm a bit of a nerd for Trafalgar Law. I love the character, and I'm looking for any excuse to play them since Bandai banned the infamous leader variant. Now, I have to rely on the deadly duo of Trafalgar Law (OP10-022) and Trafalgar Law (OP10-119) to get my fix of Shambles. Thankfully, the latter is pretty strong alongside Eustass"Captain"Kid (OP10-099). I expect the card to appear at many tournament tables, and the Parallel Alternative version is the most attainable way to add a little flair to that. It's a solid pull that stands to get better as time goes on.

Marketplace price trend

The only alternative art leader to make the list, Smoker (OP10-001) , is making a decent run early in the Royal Blood meta. Many players see the leader as a curveball choice for their next event and an option that will appreciate as additional {Navy} and {Punk Hazard} support enters the game. That makes for many eyes on the premium version — and many a sale on the marketplace!

For those chasing a copy of our body-swapped base commander, the price has been starting to bottom out since release. If you can snag a copy for under $60, I'd consider it a steal.

[Counter] Up to 1 of your Leader gains +3000 power during this battle.

Marketplace price trend

We've arrived at my favorite card in the set and a personal must-have four-of. Divine Departure (OP10-019) is the first event card to ever receive a Special Parallel printing, and frankly, I couldn't imagine a better choice. After all, it's not every day that Red-Haired Shanks announces the name of an attack out loud!

It also helps that the card is absurdly playable. Shanks (OP09-001) is a massive contender in the current format, and Divine Departure (OP10-019) slots right into the existing shell for a noticeable bump in power. If you've got the extra cash, treat yourself with these. You're not going to regret looking at them.

Everything I said above about Charlotte Pudding (ST12-012) also applies to Sanji (ST14-003) as well.... which is almost poetic if you're still hoping they work out.

However, the latter features in a more popular deck and happens to be a member of the Monster Trio. That was always going to bump up the price tag just a smidge. I love the composition of this card, and I can see it being the chase for any diehard fan or Monkey.D.Luffy (ST14-001) enjoyer.

[On Play] You may add 1 card from the top or bottom of your Life cards to your hand: Draw 1 card.

Marketplace price trend

Charlotte Flampe (EB01-056) is a tournament juggernaut, featuring heavily in top performing leaders such as Monkey.D.Luffy (ST13-003) and Enel OP05-098. Previously, the card was only available in EB01 – Memorial Collection, a set that was notoriously difficult to get shortly after release. Altogether, this puts demand slightly above some of the other Special Parallel rares in the set.

While Charlotte Flampe (EB01-056) does have another alternative art option, the newest printing in OP10 – Royal Blood is to be the more luxurious of the two from a community standpoint. Depending on your art preferences, you may lean either way, but I expect the cute scene alongside Charlotte Katakuri to be the fan favorite both on the market and during the game.

Marketplace price trend

As we reach the podium, it only makes sense that we'll begin to see some of the most beloved characters in One Piece. Make no mistake, Edward.Newgate (ST15-002) has become a formative part of competitive lists for Shanks (OP09-001), but I do not doubt that this card is being carried by the artwork alone.

It's Whitebeard and his sons. The crew he forged and the pirates he adopted along his way to becoming one of the greatest pirates we've ever seen. It warms the heart to see him so jovial and surrounded by loved ones. I know art is subjective, but this version is so much cooler than the base Starter Deck printing in my eyes that I cannot help but pay the premium.

Uso-Hachi (ST18-001) ticks all the boxes for a chase card. Is it currently played in a top deck? Check. Potential to be a staple of the color for the rest of time? Check. Didn't previously have an alternative art treatment due to appearing in a Starter Deck? It's like they did this on purpose or something!

To put it bluntly, the card is also beautiful. The colors are incredibly vibrant and fit so thematically on a purple card, and I absolutely love it. Clearly, so does everyone else — the price on this one is up a whopping 465% in the last thirty days. Here's hoping that you find one lurking in your next booster!

But as always, the gold medal is reserved for the Manga Rare.

This time, it's Trafalgar Law (OP10-119) earning the prestigious treatment, lovingly emblazoned with some of their most iconic manga panels to create a jaw-dropping effect. Honestly? This was a solid choice — an iconic character on a very playable card is likely to keep the price of this treasure incredibly high long into the new age.

Trafalgar Law (OP10-119) is the most wanted and most expensive card in OP10 – Royal Blood , and that's a darn good place to be.
