Releasing on February 20, 2026, Heroines Edition is an expansion for the One Piece Card Game dedicated entirely to the ladies of the One Piece franchise (with bonus cameos by Yamato and Trafalgar Law). That premise alone has been enough to fill speculators' eyes with berry signs like Nami contemplating her next score, but there's even more to look forward to in EB-03.

Because Heroines Edition only introduces one new Leader to the One Piece Card Game, most of the set's cards have been designed to support decks that already exist. That support is spread wide, with tons of off-meta Leaders getting key upgrades, and there's nothing One Piece players love as much as getting to tweak their pet deck.

With so many new cards to try and so many gorgeous alternate-art versions to collect, what's a One Piece fan supposed to do? Well, if you want to aim high, start here. These are the cards everybody wants from Extra Booster One Piece Heroines Edition (EB-03).

As a pseudo-8-cost Character with counter, Koala (EB03-042) already earns a spot in decks led by Sabo (OP13-004), and that's before we get to her [On K.O.] ability. If your opponent is foolish enough to attack Koala, she replaces herself with an even bigger {Revolutionary Army} Character like Sabo (OP13-120) for the low, low cost of completely free. You don't even have to spend a card—she can play the Character from the trash!

Sabo has a pretty devoted following himself (as the cost of his Red Manga Rare card should convince you), and anyone who's playing him as their leader will need four copies of Koala (EB03-042) going forward. The rarer, the better.

Boa Hancock (EB03-026) might be the worst card on this list from a competitive perspective. While her [On Play] ability looks nice, it can't compare to the hand-disrupting power of Charlotte Pudding (OP06-047), a card that also comes with +1000 counter attached. Japanese Boa Hancock (OP14-041) lists have been running Pudding over this Hancock for just this reason, even though Pudding lacks Hancock's relevant traits.

But there's just no way I can leave a Boa Hancock card off this list. The character's too beloved by the One Piece fanbase for this card to be anything other than a massive hit, especially in a set where she graces the box art. Hancock cards have been going through the roof ever since the, erm, increased interest in the One Piece Card Game that started late last year, and the alternate-art version of this card is more or less guaranteed to follow the same trend.

The honorary heroine, gender-swapped Trafalgar Law, earns a spot here as the stronger of the two Secret Rare cards in Heroines Edition. While the stats on Trafalgar Law (EB03-062) aren't too impressive, they're basically just icing on the cake that is this card's [Activate: Main] ability. After you get your free 6000-power attack, you'll immediately use that ability to heal one Life and replace this Law with another one—ideally Trafalgar Law (OP12-073).

In Japan, decks led by Donquixote Rosinante (OP12-061) have been seeing their first real competitive success thanks to upgrades like Trafalgar Law (EB03-062) and Rosinante & Law (EB04-038). The prospect of a new meta contender, plus the high rarity of even the base version of Trafalgar Law (EB03-062), will make both versions of the card highly desirable.

The price of Alternate-Art Sanji (OP12-041) has more than quadrupled since November, at least in part because of this one card. For a mere cost of 5 and -1 DON!! (which Sanji can get back for you), Vinsmoke Reiji (EB03-031) lets you play cards like Gum-Gum Red Roc and Gravity Blade Raging Tiger from your trash, all while leaving behind a 5000-power body. That's insane value. It even has counter!

With Sanji finding success in the Japanese metagame and the rest of the deck costing under $20, Vinsmoke Reiju (EB03-031) will be high on the wishlists of any players who want a totally unique approach to the One Piece Card Game, or just really like Sanji.

When The Azure Sea's Seven (OP14-EB04) finally released in January 2026, Boa Hancock (OP14-112) stole the show. A two-Life swing attached to a high-powered threat? Featuring one of the most adored characters in all of One Piece? What could be better?

Well, we might finally have an answer to that question. Nico Robin (EB03-055) does most of what Boa Hancock (OP14-112) does, but instead of being locked to Leaders with the {The Seven Warlords of the Sea} type, she's tied to {Straw Hat Crew} Leaders. I.e., the most supported type in the game. Oh, and she comes down a full turn earlier.

We'll be seeing Nico Robin (EB03-055) in yellow {Straw Hat Crew} decks for a long time, whether those decks are headed by existing Leaders like Nami (OP11-041) and Monkey.D.Luffy (ST29-001), or future leaders like Monkey.D.Luffy (OP15-098). Plus… it's Nico Robin, the second-most popular female character in One Piece. This card was going to be desirable no matter how strong it was.

Moving on, we have the first-most popular female character in One Piece, who's card is somehow even stronger than Robin's!

Nami (EB03-053) applies fast pressure on your opponent, sniping one Life immediately (with no opportunity for [Trigger] effects) and attaching a DON!! to your Leader so you can start swinging. Then she hits for 6000 every turn going forward, and even replaces herself if your opponent tries to slow her down. Draw her too late? Not a problem, she's got counter too.

In Japan, this card currently sees play even in decks that can't make use of Nami's {Straw Hat Crew} type, like Boa Hancock (OP14-041). With leaders like Jewelry Bonney (EB04-001) and Monkey.D.Luffy (OP15-098) on the way, this card is set to be just as popular with players as Nami cards always are with collectors.

DON!! cards are the most customizable part of any One Piece Card Game deck, so players have always been eager to pick up DON!! that show off their favorite characters. Heroines Edition delivers on that front with four DON!! cards featuring Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, and Uta wearing their outfits from the box art. Each of those DON!! also has an extra-fancy gold version.

As the only alternate-art Leader in Heroines Edition (EB-03), Nefeltari Vivi (EB03-001) is sure to be one of the biggest chase cards in the set.

Alabasta has always been the quintessential One Piece saga. It introduced us to the Grand Line, expanded the scope of the Straw Hat Crew's adventures, and cemented the formula that the series has been following ever since (go somewhere cool, meet someone punchable, watch Luffy punch them). Its central place in the franchise explains why Vivi is still one of the most popular One Piece characters ever, even beating out some later members of the Straw Hat Crew in most polls.

Traditionally, the most expensive card in each One Piece Card Game set has been the set's Manga Rare (now officially called a "super alternate art"). In Heroines Edition, that Manga Rare is Uta (EB03-061).

Uta has appeared on her fair share of super-valuable One Piece cards before. That fact, combined with the scarcity of Manga Rares in general, should be enough to make this Manga Rare an extremely desirable pull.

That said, with all respect to Uta, I don't think securing her Manga Rare will be the ultimate goal for most collectors who dive into Heroines Edition. They might be more concerned with trying to find…

And most of them will be just as valuable to players. Nami (EB03-053) and Nico Robin (EB03-055) in particular are insanely strong and aren't locked to a specific Leader, so players will be looking to assemble a full playset of each. If possible, they'll prefer that playset to be of these SP versions—the highest-rarity versions currently available—because who doesn't enjoy flexing on their opponents without saying a word?

With players and collectors all hoping to find up to four copies of each of these cards, the nine SP heroines are sure to be the cards everybody wants from Heroines Edition.
