Everything We Know About Premium Booster -One Piece Card The Best Vol.2- (PRB-02)

In under a month, the next One Piece Card Game big reprint set will be released! Premium Booster -One Piece Card The Best Vol.2- (PRB-02) releases on October 3, 2025.

With a ton of new cards along with some amazing reprints, PRB-02 is going to be incredibly popular, and there's a ton going for it.

More New Cards than PRB-01

Premium Booster -The Best- (PRB-01) only had one brand-new card in it, in the form of the Red Sanji Leader. Aside from that, the only "new" cards were alternate arts of previously released cards, and the Leader-based DON!! cards that came in every pack. Plus, PRB-01 was the first One Piece Card Game reprint set. Everything in it was an older card that was suddenly more accessible.

PRB-02 is continuing that same trend by being jam-packed with reprints, but it's adding something new. Instead of just one new card in the set, 18 brand new cards are making their first appearance in PRB-02, along with so many new alternate arts, I don't even know where to begin!

Here's just some of the new cards, specifically the three original Straw Hats, with some brand new alternate-art cards that have been confirmed. The best part? All of these cards are playable! You have awesome artwork and playability, which is the key to awesome pulls. Don't worry, though, there are plenty of other notable characters receiving brand new artwork.

These two new cards for Green Jewelry Bonney and Red Shanks are both incredibly strong Blockers with crazy good effects for their respective decks. OP-07 Bonney is all about making sure you have an active DON!! on your opponent's turn, so the new three-cost Jewelry Bonney is perfect for that deck. Lucky Roux is just awesome because it gives you some amazing draw power while still having a Blocker on the field.

I think my favorite part about both of these cards is that it's these two characters doing their favorite thing: eating food! 

Awesome Big Hit Cards

Just like with any One Piece Card Game set, there are always going to be some huge hitters in PRB-02!

To start, of course, you wouldn't have a One Piece set without a Manga Rare. The Secret Rare Sanji from Wings of the Captain is seeing a reprint in this set, and our favorite chef is finally getting the Manga Rare treatment. This card looks absolutely amazing as it showcases Sanji getting ready to pummel Queen with his Ifrit Jambe. This card has seen a surge in popularity recently because of its utility in the Blue/Purple Luffy deck.

I'm happy to see Sanji join the ranks of Straw Hats with their very own manga card. With Sanji, we're exactly half way through the entire crew (not counting Sogeking). I can't wait to see who gets the next one!

In addition to Sanji getting some much-deserved love, there are also plenty of cards getting some awesome SP prints and alternate arts as well! The Monkey.D.Luffy from EB-02 receives the SP treatment, which is great considering how expensive that card was becoming before its announcement.

The biggest thing is the alternate art events that are all being reprinted from OP-09! The search cards for three of the Four Emperors are all being reprinted with alternate arts, along with one of the best counter events ever printed: Gum-Gum Giant.

Gold DON!! and God Packs Make a Return

Aside from all the awesome reprints in PRB-01, the coolest thing that players and collectors alike wanted was the fancy new DON!! cards! Just like in PRB-01, this new set will have 30 new artworks for DON!!, and each one will have three different rarities. You have a regular common printing of each one, a textured holofoil, and then the chase version: the gold DON!!

PRB-02 brings back the trend of Gold DON!! by showing off artworks themed around all of the Leaders from OP06 through OP11.

Of course, with all the different characters the question becomes: what will be the top chase for Gold DON!! cards? In PRB-01 it was the Gold Zoro DON!! card. As for PRB-02, it is looking like it will be either the Shanks or Chopper DON!! leading the charge. Both look absolutely amazing in person and I'm just curious about how expensive they'll be for us considering the different ratios that we have for our packs compared to the Japanese release.

The most exciting thing is that God Packs are making a return! In PRB-01, a God Pack was a pack filled with Manga Rares. For PRB-02, if you get a God Pack, you get a pack filled with Gold DON!! While it isn't as impressive as a pack filled with Manga Rares, getting a full DON!! deck worth of Gold DON!! is still amazing.

If you've ever seen someone freak out over opening a pack of One Piece because they hit a big hit, pulling a God Pack usually warrants like 10 times the reaction. They're uber rare. I only personally know like, three people who have ever hit one. One of them owns a card shop, so it's hard to count him since he's opening so many packs anyway.

As we get closer and closer to October 3, there will be more and more previews of everything that is coming in Premium Booster Vol. 2. I'm curious about whether or not the set will be a complete import or not, considering some of the promo cards that just came out for us are due for reprints in the set. All I know is that I'm excited to get my hands on some of these new cards once they come out! I opened a couple of boxes of the Japanese set, and it was super fun, but I want to use these cards, not just look at them! October can't come soon enough.
