One Piece's female characters have always been one of the core selling points of the series. Yes, there are the obvious reasons: Eiichiro Oda is infamous for his proportions. But he's also smart enough to write characters with compelling motivations and agency. In a genre of manga that often confines female characters to the role of pining love interest, Oda (mostly) subverts that trope, giving his female characters a diverse array of goals to pursue, and letting them change the world and themselves as they do so.

Whether you buy my assessment or not, there's no denying that the women of One Piece are exceedingly popular. An entire One Piece Card Game set devoted to them? I can't think of a more sure-fire hit in the history of TCGs.

Here's everything we know about Extra Booster One Piece Heroines Edition (EB-03).

When Does Extra Booster One Piece Heroines Edition (EB-03) Release?

Extra Booster One Piece Heroines Edition (EB-03) will release in the West on February 20, 2026, a little over a month after the release of The Azure Sea's Seven (OP14-EB04) on January 16.

You can get a special Dash Pack with one of four alternate-art cards when you buy a box of Heroines Edition from your local game store on release day (while supplies last).

As this is an "Extra Booster" set, there are not expected to be official pre-release events for Heroines Edition. However, Bandai has announced that special Heroines Battle events will be held between February 27 and March 22, 2026 to celebrate the set. These will be Constructed events, with the restriction that players can only use Leaders on the list of "Heroines Leaders."

Who Are the New Leaders in Heroines Edition (EB-03)?

There's only one new Leader in Heroines Edition: Red/Blue Nefeltari Vivi (EB03-001).

Vivi (EB03-001) offers a twist on the playstyle of the red/blue Vivi Leader from Kingdoms of Intrigue. You're still giving your Characters <Rush> and reducing Vivi's power on your turn as a cost for powerful effects. This time though, the cost to give <Rush> is resting Vivi herself, a cost you don't mind paying on any turn when you're reducing her power anyway for cards like Nami (EB03-006) and Chaka & Pell (EB04-023).

Vivi also lets you save your Characters from being K.O'd once per turn and shrinks opposing Characters as she gives her own <Rush>, two abilities that make her excellent at controlling the board while maintaining tempo.

Nefeltari Vivi (OP04-001) is set to rotate with the rest of Block 1 on April 1, 2026 (with some exceptions), so it's a relief that they've given this beloved character a new Leader card and a kingdom's worth of support. Nefeltari Vivi (EB03-001) saw some success in the East when EB-03 debuted there in October 2025, and that was without the sweet Alabasta cards from EB-04 that we now have access to in the West like Chaka & Pell (EB04-023), Nefeltari Vivi (EB04-025), and Terracotta (EB04-024). This princess has a real shot of being crowned queen of the format!

Are There Special DON!! Cards in Heroines Edition (EB-03)?

Yes! There are four special DON!! cards in Heroines Edition, each featuring one of the characters from the art on the box: Nami, Uta, Nico Robin, and Boa Hancock. The Japanese release of Heroines Edition also included a fifth DON!! card with all four characters together, but it's not been confirmed whether this card will appear in the English version of the set.

Each of these DON!! cards has a normal version, and an extra-special version with gold highlights.

Assuming that gold DON!! cards are as scarce in Heroines Edition as they were in Premium Booster The Best Vol. 2 (PRB-02), you might expect to see roughly one per case, or one in 288 packs.

What Are the Most Valuable Cards in Heroines Edition (EB-03)?

Traditionally, the most valuable card from each One Piece set has been its Manga Rare (aka super alternate-art rare). In the case of Heroines Edition, that Manga Rare is Uta (EB03-061).

Manga Rare Uta will likely be the hardest card to pull in Heroines Edition (EB-03), and the most valuable overall. Just behind it though will be the set's nine SP cards, featuring portrait-style-artwork versions of some of the strongest cards in EB-03.

SP Tashigi EB03-018 SP Vinsmoke Reiju EB03-031 SP Koala EB03-042

It's no coincidence that there are exactly nine of these SP cards, the perfect number to fill a 3x3 binder page. Many collectors will dive into Heroines Edition exclusively to complete such a page.

SP Perona EB03-045 SP Uta EB03-003 SP Nefeltari Vivi EB03-024

SP Nami EB03-053 SP Boa Hancock EB03-026 SP Nico Robin EB03-055

Of the nine SP portrait cards in Heroines Edition, Nami (EB03-053) and Nico Robin (EB03-055) will probably be the most expensive. Their protagonist status as members of the Straw Hat Crew pushes them above their competition, but so does their raw power. Both Nami and Robin automatically earn a place in decks led by Monkey.D.Luffy (ST29-001), and Nami's Life-destruction ability is so powerful that she's been seen as a four-of in eastern Boa Hancock (OP14-041) lists despite lacking relevant types for the deck.
